Platform & General

Seller Buzz is the intelligence and growth hub built exclusively for sellers on the Flint & Thread marketplace. It gives you real-time data on trending products, campaign performance, BuzzBoard scores, and actionable insights to scale your store faster — all in one dashboard.

Yes! The core Seller Buzz dashboard — including trend reports, BuzzBoard scores, and basic analytics — is free for all verified sellers on Flint & Thread. Premium campaign tools and advanced analytics are available on higher-tier seller plans.

A regular seller dashboard tracks your orders and revenue. Seller Buzz goes further — it shows you what's trending platform-wide, scores your store with a BuzzBoard Score, lets you launch targeted campaigns, and compares your performance against category benchmarks. It's built for growth, not just tracking.

Seller Buzz is fully responsive and works on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is currently in development and will be available soon on Android and iOS.
Becoming a Seller

Visit sellers.flintnthread.in, complete the registration form with your business details, upload required documents (GST, PAN, bank account), and our team will review your application within 2–3 business days.

Flint & Thread supports a wide range of categories: Women's Wear, Men's Wear, Kids, Accessories, Footwear, Homely Hub, Sportswear, Indoor Play, and Sweets & Gifting. All products must meet our ethical sourcing and quality standards before going live.

You will need:
  • Valid GST registration certificate
  • PAN card (individual or business)
  • Bank account details for payments
  • Shop / Brand name and address proof
Additional verification may be needed for specific high-value categories.

Most seller accounts are verified within 2–3 business days after all documents are submitted. You'll receive an email notification once your account is approved and ready to list products.
Analytics & BuzzBoard

The BuzzBoard Score is a 0–100 composite rating that reflects your store's overall health and visibility on the platform. It factors in order completion rate, customer reviews, return rate, campaign engagement, and product listing quality. A higher score increases your product's placement in search results and trending feeds.

Sales and order data is updated every 4 hours. Trending product signals and BuzzBoard scores are refreshed daily. Campaign performance metrics update in real time as buyers interact with your promotions.

Key actions to boost your score:
  • Ship orders on time and maintain low cancellation rates
  • Collect positive verified reviews from buyers
  • Keep product listings complete with high-quality images and accurate descriptions
  • Run active campaigns and stay engaged during sale events
  • Respond to customer queries within 24 hours
Campaigns & Promotions

Seller Buzz supports multiple campaign types: Flash Sales (limited-time deep discounts), Banner Boosts (homepage and category page visibility), Festival Campaigns (Diwali, Eid, etc. themed promotions), and Trending Product Pushes (algorithmic boost for top-performing listings).

Basic campaigns (Flash Sales and Trending Pushes) have no minimum spend — they are performance-based. Banner Boosts and sponsored placements start from ₹499/week. Festival campaigns have custom pricing based on category and duration.

Go to Seller Buzz → Campaigns → My Campaigns to see real-time metrics including impressions, clicks, conversion rate, revenue generated, and ROI for every active and past campaign.
Orders & Payments

Payments are processed on a 7-day settlement cycle. Once a buyer marks an order as delivered or the auto-confirmation window (3 days from delivery) passes, the amount is credited to your registered bank account within 7 working days, minus platform commissions.

Commission rates vary by category — typically between 8% – 18% of the selling price (exclusive of GST). Exact rates are displayed in your seller dashboard under Fee Structure and are updated quarterly. New sellers get a reduced commission rate for the first 90 days.

Buyers have a 7-day return window from delivery for most categories. If a return is raised, our team mediates between the buyer and seller. Valid returns result in the order amount being reversed from your next settlement. Dispute resolution typically takes 5–7 business days.

Sellers can use Flint & Thread Fulfillment (we handle pickup, packing, dispatch) or self-ship with an approved courier partner. Flint & Thread Fulfillment is recommended for faster processing and better BuzzBoard scores. Shipping rates are subsidized for high-volume sellers.
